All calls are confidential. Please call our volunteer line and let us see if we can connect you with the services you or your family may need. Volunteers will respond to your call as soon as possible.
The Barnabas Connection provides a telephone resource referral service staffed by volunteers.
Volunteers provide information and assistance on a variety of needs:
- medical needs
- household bills
- and other crucial needs.
Resources are available for much of Hays County in Texas.
The Barnabas Connection has applications on file for local distribution for many state, county, and federal services. Call 842-9674 to speak to a volunteer.
Community Resource Guide

The directories are available through the Barnabas Connection and can also be picked up at the Wimberley Village Library.
Online Job Connection
The Barnabas Connection hosts a FREE online job posting site for employers and people looking for work through a Facebook group –https://www.facebook.com/groups/wimberleyemployment/ . Back to School Fiesta
The Barnabas Connection hosts the annual Back to School Fiesta with multiple area partners (civic and faith based) to help provide free school supplies, immunizations, and access to other services in August each year. Learn more.
Operation Good Shepherd – Wimberley Ministerial Alliance
In March, 2008 the Barnabas Connection began administering the Wimberley Ministerial Alliance- Operation Good Shepherd financial assistance fund. The fund assists with rent, utilities, and medical needs. Proof of need, Wimberley residence and ID are required.

Wimberley Flood Recovery
After the Memorial Day 2015 flood disaster, the Barnabas Connection began providing emergency assistance and ongoing case management and flood recovery and rebuilding assistance. Clients must have lived in the boundaries of Wimberley ISD and had a primary residence impacted by flooding during Memorial Day or the All Saints floods in 2015.
