The Barnabas Connection is sponsoring an energy assistance CEAP application workshop on Wednesday, February 15 from 2-6 p.m. at Wimberley United Methodist Church, 1200 CR 1492, Wimberley in the Fellowship Hall.
The purpose of the workshop is to assist Hays County residents who need assistance with PEC utility bills to fill out the Community Action application for assistance. To reserve your spot in the workshop, please call 512-847-1664 and speak to a volunteer. Walk-ins will also be welcome.
Participants must bring the following:
• A valid photo ID for the head of the household (for example, a driver’s license)
• Proof of all income for the past 30 days for all household members over 18 who work or receive assistance (Social Security/SSI or VA 2017 benefit award letter) or proof of unemployment, check stubs, etc. If any member of the household is not receiving income, they will sign a Declaration of Income Statement.
• Most recent PEC bill.
Individuals who question whether they may qualify are welcome to show up and talk to one of our volunteers.
